I attended Ashfield Post-16 from 2016-2018, I studied A-Level: Psychology (A*), Sociology (A), History (B) and EPQ (A*). I went on to study Psychology at the University of Birmingham and later transferred to the MSci Psychology and Psychological Practice (integrated master’s degree) where I completed a placement as an assistant psychologist in a male forensic medium secure unit and graduated overall with a first. I am now on the Think Ahead graduate scheme working for the NHS as a trainee mental health social worker whilst completing a masters in social work. I hope to continue to work in the mental health field and hopefully go on to become a clinical psychologist.

I always found Post-16 to be a conducive and supportive learning environment and my teachers always went above and beyond to support my education, learning and future goals. There was always opportunity for comprehensive feedback and my teachers also cared about my personal wellbeing and success. I am grateful I got to complete my A-Levels here and I have benefitted greatly.
